Hi, I’m Luis Hernandez, an Art Director, Designer, and Digital Design high school teacher based in Los Angeles, California, working both locally and remotely.
With over 10+ years of experience in creative advertising, I’ve honed my skills crafting impactful visual campaigns for brands, clients, and students who strive to make a difference and connect deeply with their audiences.

I blend creativity, strategy, and storytelling to deliver meaningful messages and memorable experiences. I believe in the power of design—not only to inspire and influence—but to foster authentic connections between brands, communities, and people.

From discovering Photoshop at age 13 to creating collages with paper and paint, my journey has allowed me to collaborate with talented artists while supporting emerging brands and creative talent. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working across sports, entertainment, and culture-driven industries, shaping brand identities and telling unique stories through innovative visuals. From concept to execution, I take pride in delivering thoughtful, bold designs that leave a lasting impression.

Alongside my independent freelance practice, I currently freelance with Thirsty Agency, collaborating on large-scale campaigns within sports and entertainment. I also teach Digital Design in a CTE program at Pioneer High School, bringing real-world creative experience into the classroom and mentoring the next generation of designers.
